For much more information look up their website:http://www.nmun.org/nmun_ny.html

Anybody will participate actively in the debates for a whole week of ultimate experience! This opportunity is very interesting for any student! Particularly to show that they have great team, managing, debating, social skills on their CV! Plus all delegates will get to travel to NYC and see the great landmarks of the Big Apple, while staying in a 5 star Hotel in the Center of Midtown Manhattan! 5 mints away from Time Square, Central Park and the Chrysler Building! 15 mints away from the UN-HQ and the Empire State Building! The delegation will be visiting the Village, as well as the well famous Lower East side of Manhattan, the emplacement of the future Muslim Community center in the Heart of Lower Manhattan and Ground Zero and of course the Statue of Liberty!

Also Great socials will be organized by the NMUN-NY committee, for ultimate fun, with delegations from the greatest Universities in the World and big social events! (managing more fees)

The delegation cost of $200 is paid for by our Committee. The accommodation cost as well as the plane fares will be highly subsidized by the John Sherborne Foundation but in order to send as many people as possible we will be asking you to pay between £150 and £190 for those (5 nights, 6 days). The Conference Officer has Calculated the costs to be totaling around £300-£350 per delegate (all inclusive). We will be asking for
a participation higher then that for those who are not selected and still want to participate, even then the places will be limited. Also, students affiliated to the Politics department of the University might be subsidized as we inquire in the possibility of the department helping Politics students taking part in what is an academically enhancing experience for them.

For the students needing a Visa to enter the USA please read the following: http://www.nmun.org/visa_info.html
We will be making these Visa application for you, and will be asking for all the relevant information in times we find fit. Please be patient and do not make Visa application before having consulted us before.

On Monday 25th of October we will be sending an email to all members signaling that they need to directly signal us their interest in attending the New York Conference so we can take them into consideration when scheduling the Interview process in order to select the most able delegates. There is a starting date because this system works on a first come first serve basis. We will try to consider all members but we will schedule the interview on this basis and if all of our places fill before the end of the interviews we will have to de facto refuse pretending delegates.

As a reminder, the delegates as well as any member of RUMUN will have to have paid a £10 yearly membership fee to be eligible to participate to the events and meetings organised by our society. This fee will be payable anytime.
All payments and transactions shall be made to and by our Treasurer Ed Bates assisted by our Conference Officer Daniel Euler.

We will be representing El Salvador in 9 committees and councils, check the link for details:
